Please take a moment to introduce yourself

Hi, we are Ofri Brin and Oded K.dar (kd), two Israeli musicians living in Berlin for 3 and 5 years now.
Our second album “Ofrin - On shore remain” came out in October 2008. Ofrin@myspace

How large is your living space and how many people are you sharing it with?

We are 2 people living in a 2 room apartment, quite a match!

Which cities/countries have you lived in?

Ofri - Israel - Golan Heights / Haifa / Tel Aviv

 Germany - Berlin - Prenzlauer berg / Weissensee / Wedding

Do your surroundings play a role inside your home? How does your city quarter influence your lifestyle?

It doesn’t really play a roll…we live in the middle of the city so it’s very easy to go anywhere, we spend most of our time in Mitte or in Prenzlauer berg

What jobs have you had?

Ofri - studio singer /agriculturist / model / waitress / cook / kindergarten assistant / saleslady

kd - composer / producer / studio musician / music teacher / Seiten Blätter / children summer camp instructor

Are you good at making things? Are you a handyman?

Ofri is coming from a do-it-yourself family. Her parents built their house all by them selfs so she can pretty much do anything.
 kd on the other hand…..

What do you cook for your best friends? What’s on your plate when you’re short on time?

A nice meal for friends - fish in coconut milk and peppermint on rice with sweet potato puree

Fast meal - Pasta with Parmesan

Are surprise visits ok?

Of course

Do you ask guests to take off their shoes?

No

How would you describe your decorating style?

Freestyle impro

Aside from your bed, what’s your favorite spot at home?

Ofri - cooking in the kitchen

kd - next to the piano

Which spot do you prefer not to show, and why?

We are very proud at all of our corners!

What’s your favorite piece of furniture at home?

Ofri - a couch we got from a good friend, it used to be blue but now it’s bright gray .

kd - an “Ikea” table I’ve bought for my home studio when I just came to Berlin. It’s really great how much crap can be piled up on it before you have to clean it….

Tell us about your latest unnecessary purchase.

A Theremin. We were sure we’ll use it on stage but for now it doesn’t look like it at all.

So, what’s definitely still missing within your walls?

A good stereo system….

What question have you always wanted to be asked? How would you answer it?

How do you feel now, after wining 10 Grammys?
